A light and fresh dessert for any meal, so very tasty!!
Ingredients:
3 pears (cornice or bartlett)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/3 granulated sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
confectioners' sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F Butter a 9-inch pie dish.
2. Peel, halve and core the pears; slice into 1/4-inch thickness lengthwise. Arrange slices, overlapping slightly in dish.
3. In a blender, process butter, sugar, flour, vanilla, egg, milk, salt until smooth.
4. Pour batter over pears; bake until golden and firm to touch, 40-45 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature, dusted with confectioners sugar.
