Curried Crab Pitas

This is my 'Go-To' recipe for summer picnics. Makes a fun appetizer or a light lunch!
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped fine
1 onion, chopped fine
1 tsp. minced garlic
3/4 cup miracle whip or mayo
2 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. tarragon
1 pkg. fake crab (pollock)
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 stalk celery, chopped fine
1/2 cup raisins
1 bag mini whole wheat pitas
Directions:
1. Saute mushrooms, onion and garlic together.
2. Put mixture into a food processor and chop until well mixed.
3. Add the crab and the celery and mix well.
4. Transfer to a large bowl and add the Miracle Whip along with the curry and tarragon.
5. Add the lemon juice and the raisins. Mix well.
6. Make an incision in each mini pita pocket, about 1 long and stuff each pocket with about a heaping tbsp. of the crab mixture.
7. Cut each pita pocket in half with the incision at the top.
8. Arrange on a platter to serve. Refrigerate until serving.
9. The flavour improves as it sits and it even tastes better the next day!
