Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat a frying pan or small pot and add olive oil. When hot, add the onions and garlic. When soft, add some salt, pepper and the cumin. Cook until fragrant.
  2. Add the black beans with their liquid, 1/2 cup water and the vinegar.
  3. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes to let it thicken again.
  4. Serve. It is traditional to serve this with white rice. I served it with boiled sweet potatoes and loved it.
