Crusty Cheese Rings

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1/2 cup grated swiss cheese or 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese or 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

1 egg white, slightly beaten
Directions:
1. Combine flour and butter in mixing bowl.
2. Cut butter into flour until slightly smaller than peas.
3. Mix in cream and vinegar with a fork.
4. Stir in cheese.
5. Form dough into a ball.
6. Roll dough out on floured surface to 1/4 thick.
7. Cut into rings using a doughnut cutter.
8. Place rings and centers (holes) on ungreased baking sheet about 1 apart.
9. Chill for 30 minute.
10. Brush tops with egg white.
11. Sprinkle with add'l cheese.
12. Bake at 450 degrees for about 10 minute or until lightly browned.
13. Serve hot.
