Crunchy Yummy Salad (Fennel and Apple Salad)

This is my take on a Waldorf Salad using things I happened to have on hand. This is my 1st taste of fennel, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I like it. I did not include chilling time.
Ingredients:
1 large fennel bulb
1 large granny smith apple
1 cup walnut halves
1 1/2 cups low-fat vanilla yogurt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions:
1. In a small bowl combine lemon juice and yogurt, set aside.
2. Finely slice the fennel. I used a mandolin.
3. Halve and core the apple. Leaving the skin on, finely slice it. I used a mandolin for this as well.
4. In large bowl combine the fennel, apples, and walnuts.
5. Pour dressing over the fennel mixture and toss to coat.
6. Chill until ready to serve.
