Crunchy Top Lemon Cake

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
6 ounce(s) caster sugar
2 eggs
4 ounce(s) granulated sugar
grated rind of 1 lemon
juice of 1 lemon
4 tablespoon(s) milk
6 ounce(s) self raising flour
4 ounce(s) soft margarine
Directions:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. And grease a 7" deep tin. Mix all the ingredients together until smooth. Spoon into tin. Cook for 35-40 min.
2. While cooking make topping.
3. Mix the lemon juice and the granulated sugar together and put in microwave for 1-2 min. So you have a syrup then once cake is out of oven, spread over the top of the cake while still hot.
4. Allow to cool before eating.
