This hearty granola will start your day of with a satisfied and full tummy. I really enjoy this recipe!
Ingredients:
4 cups oatmeal
1 cup white flour
1 cup soy flour
1 cup fine coconut
1 tbl salt
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup almonds, cashew, sunflower seeds
1 cup honey or brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup oil
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients, then add oil, honey water.
2. mix with hands
3. mixture should be crumbly
4. add more water for bigger crumbs
5. put into 2 large flat pans and bake at 250*-300* for 1 1/4 hours
6. Turn every 20 minutes.
7. Variation: After granola has baked, cool slightly and add 3/4 Cups raisins or other dried fruit.
8. Keep in air tight container.
