Crunchy Cocktail Meatballs

Make a Meatball Tasting Station with a variety of dipping sauces surrounding the meatballs. Everyone will find their favorite, and you get a variety of tastes. I've included some of our favorites at the end of the recipe. Read more . You can really have fun with this, being as creative as you like. It's nice to double this recipe so you have some extra unbaked meatballs for the freezer.
Ingredients:
2 cups crushed garlic croutons (if you can find marie callendar french bread garlic croutons, they are the best!)
1/4 cup milk
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon onion powder
few drops of tabasco
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 (5 ounce) can water chestnuts, finely diced
1/2 onion, finely diced
some favorite dipping sauces
sweet baby ray's bbq sauce
duck sauce (in asian aisle)
plum sauce (in asian aisle)
horseradish mixed with honey to desired sharp/sweet level
dijon mustard mixed with a bit of mayonaisse and honey to desired sweetness
one part hot sauce to one part melted butter and one part french dressing
french onion dip
creamy dill dip
jalapeno jelly thinned with a just a little maple syrup
cranberry mustard
wasabi mustard

Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together well (using your hands works best).
2. Shape into small meatballs and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on size of the meatballs.
4. Serve immediately or keep meatballs warm in a crock-pot.
5. Serve with a variety of dipping sauces.
