Crumbly Green Bean Casserole With Cheese

This is an awesome green bean casserole. The addition of sour cream and swiss cheese makes this special and the corn flake topper is a nice crunchy twist. Enjoy
Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon chopped white onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
2 pounds canned green beans
4 ounces swiss cheese shredded
1/3 cup corn flake crumbs
1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
1. Cook onion in butter 1 minute then blend in flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
2. Add milk then cook until smooth and remove from heat and add sour cream.
3. Mix beans and cheese then spread 1/3 beans in casserole and put a layer of sauce over the beans.
4. Alternate layers ending with the beans.
5. Combine corn flakes and melted butter then spread on casserole.
6. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
