Crosby Molasses Brown Bread

This is an old time brown bread recipe. You can add raisins to it if you like.
Ingredients:
3 shredded wheat
1 cup molasses
2 tablespoons salt
1 cup lukewarm water
2 compressed yeast cakes
4 cups boiling water
11 cups flour
Directions:
1. Mix together 3 shredded wheat, 1 cup molasses, 2 tablespoons salt and 4 cups boiling water. Let cool. Then add 2 yeast cakes dissolved in lukewarm water. Add 11 cups flour and knead well. Place in warm place to rise (overnight). In morning knead again and make 4 small loaves. Let rise.
2. Bake at 425F for 15 minutes, then 375F for 45 minutes.
