My cousin gave me some fresh green beans out of her garden and this is the way I fixed them today.
Ingredients:
green beans
ham
potatoes
a little water
pepper
salt to taste optional ( i didn't add salt because of blood pressure)
Directions:
1. I put some green beans in my crock pot and added some small ham slices.
2. Then I put some more green beans on top of that.
3. I added about half glass of water.
4. Sprinkled pepper on top.
5. Peeled and cut length wise 3 potatoes and put on top of the beans and cooked on high for several hours. I didn't really time this but put it on before noon and let is cook the rest of the day until I had my meal.
