This is a very good taco casserole. Something different to have on a taco Friday!!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 drops tabasco sauce
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup frozen corn
2 (16 ounce) cans chili with beans
3/4 lb grated cheese
nacho cheese tortilla chips
Directions:
1. Brown ground meat and drain. Add onion, garlic, 1 drop Tabasco and pepper and cook until onion is transparent. Add remaining Tabasco, tomato sauce and chili powder. Grease crock pot, and layer in 5 layers, beginning with meat mixture and Nacho cheese tortilla tortilla chips, then the corn, chili and grated cheese. cover and cook 6-8 hours on low.
