Crock Pot Turkey Lasagna

A turkey variation of recipe Crock Pot Lasagna by Derf. I substitute 1.5 (28 oz) jars of marinara sauce for the onion thru tomato paste ingredients (just because I am SO lazy).
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, smashed
1 (28 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
12 ounces low fat cottage cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
12 ounces lasagna noodles, uncooked
16 ounces part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups water
Directions:
1. Brown ground turkey in olive oil.
2. Add tomato sauce (and lots of oregano!) and mix thoroughly.
3. Spoon a layer of meat sauce onto the bottom of the slow cooker.
4. Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles (break to fit) and top with cheeses.
5. Repeat with sauce, noodles and cheeses until all are used up.
6. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
