Crock Pot Rattlesnake Stew

This is a favorite dish of mine and is very easy to make.
Ingredients:
1 onion chopped
1 cup of chopped celery
4 medium potatoes diced
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
1 cup of chopped carrots
1 15 ounce can of diced tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
1 14 ounce can of beef broth
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
pinch of sugar
1/4 cup of lemon juice
2 pounds of rattlesnake meat
Directions:
1. Cook the rattlesnake meat in water and lemon juice for 1 hour.
2. Remove and separate the meat from the bones.
3. Mix the meat with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl well then add to the crockpot.
4. Cook on low for 8 hours
5. Serve
