Crock Pot Meat Loaf

This is a great meal when you don't want to heat up the oven on a warm day. The meatloaf is moist and delicious. Great with a salad or green vegetable.
Ingredients:
2 pounds very lean ground beef
1/2 pound bulk sausage
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (8oz.) tomato sauce
1/2 cup catsup
3/4 cup crushed saltine crackers
2 eggs
2 teaspoons season salt
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 potatoes, peeled and cut up
sauce
1 cup catsup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except potatoes.
2. Mix well in large bowl.
3. Place potatoes in bottom of crock pot.
4. Shape meat into loaf as best as you can, need not be perfect. Plop it right on top of the potatoes.
5. Mix sauce ingredients together in small bowl.
6. Pour sauce over all.
7. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours.
8. Turn to high setting and remove cover for last hour.
