Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients:
8 ounces uncooked macaroni
3 (8 ounce) packages sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted and cooled
12 ounces canned evaporated milk (not condensed)
3 eggs, fork beaten
1 teaspoon salt
fresh ground black pepper
1 dash grated fresh nutmeg (optional)
Directions:
1. Cook raw macaroni to package directions and drain.
2. In a large bowl combine 2 packages of the cheese shredded, the cooled melted butter or margarine, 3 fork beaten eggs, milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
3. Stir in the drained, cooked macaroni and mix well.
4. Place mixture into the crock-pot.
5. Sprinkle with the remaining shredded cheese.
6. Cook Low Power 2 to 3 hours. Do not lift cover while cooking. When done, stir mixture, and serve at once.
