Crock Pot Corny Chili

I like to make my chili with a little cornmeal in it, it thickens up the chili and gives it a nice flavor
Ingredients:
2 cups pinto beans
1 lb ground beef
8 cups water
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 cup frozen corn kernels
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups tomatoes, chopped
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in crockpot with the exception of tomatoes.
2. Let cook on high 6-7 hours.
3. After beans are thoroughly cooked, add the tomatoes and heat through.
4. Season individual servings as desired. I like to sprinkle a little salt on top so I don't get as much sodium but still get a little salty taste.
5. Serve with Corn Cakes.
