Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff

This recipe was given to me by a friend. My kids love it! I think it is best cooked longer on low heat as the meat is more tender. I also substitute low fat sour cream.
Ingredients:
1 lb stewing beef
1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 garlic clove, minced
1 dash salt & pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon thyme
1 tablespoon minced onion
flour
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
wide egg noodles
Directions:
1. Cut stew beef into 1 pieces and put in crock pot.
2. Dredge beef with flour.
3. add garlic and spices.
4. add crushed tomatoes.
5. cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
6. Thirty minutes before eating add sour cream.
7. serve over warm noodles.
