Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/4 cups milk |
3 eggs, separated |
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl; mix well. Add milk, egg yolks, and butter; stir until smooth. 2. Beat egg whites (at room temperature) in a small bowl until stiff; gently fold into batter. 3. Spoon batter into a preheated, lightly oiled waffle iron, following manufacturer's directions. Cook 5 minutes or until brown and crisp. Repeat procedure with remaining batter. |
