This is very easy, the cream sauce is simular to Bob Evans Vanilla Cream...I kept working at it until it tasted like their's...it seems close...it could be the sugar talking too...either way this came out good, tried it on my family for Mother's day. Read more ...they all loved it.
Ingredients:
crepes
1 3/4 cups milk
3 whole eggs
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tsp salt
5 tablespoons melted butter
vanilla cream sauce (crepe filling)
8 oz cream cheese room temperature (soft)
1/2 cup powdered sugar (or to taste)
4 tabelspoons butter melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup heavy cream (add until it is thin enough to just drip) a little thinner than pudding.
topping
fresh fruit of choice, strawberries and banannas are good
Directions:
1. In a blender mix together the milk, eggs and vanilla.
2. Stir in the flour, sugar, salt and melted butter until well blended.
3. Heat a crepe pan or a good non stick 8 pan over medium heat until hot.
4. Lightly coat with a tiny bit of olive oil.
