Popular on pancake day! I usually fill them with rich belgium chocolate ice cream with bananas, or simply sugar and lemon juice. Add your own combinations ;)
Ingredients:
4 ounces plain flour
1 pinch salt
1 egg
1/4 pint milk
1/4 pint water
cooking oil
Directions:
1. Sieve flour and salt into a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and add half of the milk with the egg. Beat and add the water and remaining milk with a slosh of oil.
2. Let the mixture stand for a good 30 minutes or so.
3. Fry in batches, 2/3 minutes either side depending on size and how many you want to cook.
