Ingredients:
9 deep dish pie shell
4 eggs
6 1/2 ounces cream cheese -- soften
1/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar -- packed
1 cup pecans
Directions:
1. Precook a deep dish pie shell in 400~ oven for 15 minutes; cool. Mix cream cheese, 1 egg yolk, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla. Spread this mixture evenly over bottom of pie shell. Mix together remaining eggs, brown sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla, corn syrup and pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake in preheated 350~ oven for about 45 minutes. Let cool then refrigerate before cutting. Serve with dollop of whipped cream.
