Creamy Roasted Red Pepper Pasta With Sausage

You can use your favorite sausage or substitute diced chicken.
Ingredients:
2 red bell peppers
1 -2 tablespoon olive oil
3 -4 garlic cloves, minced
2 -3 bratwursts, cooked and chopped
1 cup cream
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
salt, to taste
ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
12 ounces farfalle pasta (bow-tie)
parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions:
1. Char peppers over gas flame or in broiler until blackened on all sides. Enclose in paper bag 10 minutes.
2. Peel and seed peppers. Transfer peppers to blender and puree until very smooth. Season to taste with salt. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate.).
3. In large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic. Stir in bratwurst and heat through.
4. Add cream, red pepper puree, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
5. Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain. Stir pasta into red pepper cream mixture.
6. Top with additional Parmesan cheese.
