A serving = approx 1.5 cups Creamy hamburger gravy Yummy served over rice or dreamfields pasta this recipe uses 2 lg bell peppers, any color
Ingredients:
1.03 pounds ground beef, 90% lean
1/5 large onion, chopped
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 green pepper, chopped (can use yellow or red)
1/4 cup mushrooms
1 cup celery, chopped
13 oz evaporated milk
13 oz chicken broth
2 tbls whipped cream cheese
1 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp black pepper
4 tbls flour
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup white wine
1 tbls worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. Brown hamberger in pan and drain excell fat.
2. Add onions and saute
3. add peppers, garlic and saute, add seasoning.
4. Add wine to deglaze pan.
5. Stir in 1/4 flour into cooked meat and veggies.
6. Slowly add broth, soy sauce. Add canned milk last.
7. cook slowly.
8. Test for flavor. Simmer gently until done.
9. Can make ahead and reheat.
10. Serve over brown rice or pasta.
