Cream Strawberries Delight Cake

Strawberry cake with icing, made with fresh strawberries.Serve……………and ENJOY
Ingredients:
200 gm butter,soft
1 cup powdered sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
filling/topping
whipping cream - 400ml
icing sugar (to taste)
strawberries(as required)
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 200 C. Butter and line a 7 round cake tin with baking parchment.
2. In a large bowl,beat butter until creamy.
3. Add sugar and beat until fluffy and light.
4. Beat in the eggs gradually.
5. In another bowl,sift flour and baking powder.
6. Fold the flour into the creamed mix.
7. Spoon the mix into the prepared tin and bake for 30-35 minutes till done.
8. Remove from tin after 5 mins and leave on rack to cool completely.
9. Carefully slice the cake in two through the middle.
10. Spread the whipped cream on one side of the cake and arrange sliced strawberries over it.
11. Put the other cake on top.Spread over the remaining cream on top and sides of the cake.
12. Decorate the top of the cake with sliced strawberries.
