Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute onions and celery with the 3 tbsp of butter for about 3 minutes or until tender
  2. Add salt ,pepper and garlic
  3. Add broccoli
  4. Fill with water just to cover over the broccoli
  5. Bring to a boil
  6. Add bouillons
  7. Turn down to low and simmer until broccoli is tender (about 15 minutes)
  8. Then add cream/ milk and cook for and extra 10 minutes on medium heat
  9. Mix cornstarch and 1 cup of water dissolve well and add to soup cook until it thickens just a few minutes
  10. ****If you wish you can blend the broccoli with a hand blender right in the pot or in you blender or leave it chunky*****another suggestion is that you can omit the cornstarch and add a potato instead to the soup so when you blend it , it will get thick too.
