Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Moist,dense,velvety,buttery. The perfect pound cake.
Ingredients:
3 sticks butter-softened
2 cups granulated sugar
1 8oz package cream cheese-softened
6 eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl,cream butter and cream cheese together with a mixer.
2. Gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time,beating well after each addition.
4. In another bowl,combine flour and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
5. Stir in vanilla.
6. Spoon batter into greased and floured 10 tube pan.
7. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until cake tests done.
8. Cool in pan for 15 minutes the turn out onto wire rack.
9. Cool completely.
10. Serve with ice cream,fruit,whipped cream,or whatever you like.
