Just an experiment! Based on a recipe from Lele Lurves Plants blogger.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons agave nectar
3 tablespoons cold butter
2/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond breeze
1 tablespoon unsweetened vanilla almond breeze
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 pinch lemon zest
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients.
2. Crumble in butter.
3. Make a well and stir in milk and agave.
4. Stir in cranberries, walnuts, and zest.
5. Pat out into a 8 circle on lightly floured surface.
6. Cut into wedges and place on lightly greased baking sheet. Brush with remaining tablespoon of milk.
7. Bake for 16 minutes on 425.
