Cranberry Salad

A simple great homemade salad to go with your turkey, ham or favorite holiday dish. I buy cranberries when they are in season and and freeze them so I can make it year round.
Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) bag cranberries
4 apples
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
2 (6 ounce) boxes strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
Directions:
1. grind cranberries
2. dice apples.
3. drain pineapple, I usually use the juice as part of the water.
4. boil water.
5. mix water, jello, and sugar until sugar dissolves.
6. add cranberries, apples, and pineapple and stir.
7. pour into serving bowl or container you wish to store inches.
8. put in fridge until set.
