Cranberry Fudge

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup chopped cranberries, drained well
Directions:
1. Butter sides of heavy saucepan.
2. Combine sugar, milk,cream, syrup and salt.
3. Stir over medium heat until boiling.
4. Cook to soft ball stage.
5. Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.
6. Add butter and vanilla.
7. Beat until mixture is stiff, about 5 minutes.
8. Quickly stir in the cranberries.
9. Spread into a buttered 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
10. Cut into pieces when cool.
