Cranberry and Apple Stuffing

This festive stuffing combines tart cranberries and apples with savory herbs for a delicious flavor twist. Serve with roast chicken or pork, or with the holiday turkey.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups celery, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 teaspoon thyme leaves
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
2 red apples, cored and chipped
1 1/4 cups dried cranberries
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
4 cups unseasoned bread cubes
1 cup chicken broth
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add celery and onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in next 5 ingredients and orange peel.
2. Place bread cubes in large bowl. Add celery mixture and broth; toss gently until well mixed. Spoon into lightly greased 13x9-inch baking dish; cover.
3. Bake 35-40 minutes or until heated through and lightly browned.
