I made this dish for me and my mom because we just love chinese food and we wanted to see how close we could get it to taste like the real thing and i think we got it very close.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups imitation crabmeat- chopped finely
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup minced onion
2 tbsp chopped scallions
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp steak sauce
1 pack wonton wrappers
oil for frying
Directions:
1. First put the cream cheese in a bowl to let it get soft and set aside.
2. Then add the onion, crabmeat, scallion, garlic, and steak sauce. then take 1 tsp of the crab mixture and put in the wonton wrapper and fold diagonally and pinch to seal shut.
3. In a pan heat enough oil for frying.
4. when the oil is hot place wontons in oil and fry 1-2 minutes on each side.
5. Enjoy!
