Crab Stuffed Mushroom Caps

This is a delicious appetizer.I also serve it as a side when I make a rib roast.
Ingredients:
24 large stuffing mushrooms
1/4 c extra virgin olive oil
1/3-1/2 c minced garlic
1 tub whipped chive cream cheese
1 can crab meat
3 tbsp freshly grated parmesan cheese
6 tbsp butter
Directions:
1. Remove stems from mushrooms
2. With a teaspoon, scrape off as much of the gills as possible
3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, parmesan cheese and crab meat
4. Fold together until thoroughly combined
5. Drizzle 1/2 tsp olive oil in each mushroom cap,then add a sprinkle of minced garlic
6. Add 1 tablespoon mixture to each mushroom cap
7. Place mushrooms in a foil baking pan
8. Cut the butter into cubes and add to the bottom of the pan
9. Sprinkle remaining minced garlic over the butter
10. Cover the pan with foil and bake at 350F for 40 minutes
11. Set oven to broil
12. Remove foil and brown lightly for approx 5 minutes,watching carefully so they don t burn
