Crab Cakes With Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

You can use this as a main course or make them into smaller cakes for appetizers. I have tried lots of variations and this is the best. There are alot of ingredients but it really is quite simple. Try it and let me know what you think! Read more !
Ingredients:
crab cakes
1 cup cracker meal
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup milk
12 ounces lump crab meat, pick through it to find any shells
1 heaping tbsp of crab boil seasoning, i think old bay is the best.
1 tbsp baking powder
a handful flat leaf parsley, chopped
1 lemon zested plus 1 lemon cut into wedges
1 rib celery from the heart, finely chopped
several drops worchestershire sauce
several drops hot sauce, i like cholula brand
2 tbsp mayo
vegetable or canola oil for frying
for sauce
1 8ounce jar roasted red peppers, drained or 1 large freshly prepared one
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup prepared chili sauce
Directions:
1. Place cracker meal in a bowl and make a well in the center of meal.
2. Beat egg with milk and pour into well.
3. Moisten cracker meal with the egg liquid using the tines of a fork.
4. Add crab meat, crab boil seasoning, baking powder, parsley, lemon zest, celery, worchestershire sauce, hot sauce, and mayo.
5. Mix all ingredients well and form into 8 3inch patties.
6. Add 1/2 inch oil into skillet and heat to medium high temperature.
7. Fry cakes about 3-4 minutes on each side and drain onto a paper towel lined plate.
8. Cook about 4 cakes at a time so the oil temp doesn't drop too low. The key is to keep the oil hot but not too hot.
9. For the Sauce, combined red pepper, 1 cup mayo, and chili sauce in a food processor.
10. Pulse or grind the ingreients until smooth.
11. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with the cakes!
