This recipe was from a local restaurant. These crab cakes are very easy to make and the roasted red pepper sauce adds a wonderful flavor to the crab.

2 red peppers, grilled then peeled
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper
1 lb flaked crabmeat
2 teaspoons freshly chopped dill
1/2 red pepper, finely diced

salt and pepper
1 egg
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce (preferably white)
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup clarified butter (melted, solids strained out)
Directions:
1. To make sauce: Combine peppers, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and salt and pepper.
2. Blend in blender until smooth.
3. To make crab cakes: Combine dill, diced pepper, 2 Tbsp bread crumbs, pepper and salt.
4. Add crab meat and stir together.
5. Mix egg, mayonnaise, mustard and lemon juice together and fold into crab mixture.
