This is my favorite Crab Bisque. It is quick and easy to make and it freezes nicely.
Ingredients:
2 (14 3/4 ounce) cans cream-style corn
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of potato soup, undiluted
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan add the first nine ingredients; mix well and heat. Stir in crab; heat through. Discard bay leaves. Transfer to a freezer container; cover and freeze for up to 3 months.
