Crab And Scallops Salsa

a wonderful cocktail party addition or first course. May use either all crab or scallops if you wish instead of the combo
Ingredients:
tortillla chips, ( see note )
1/2 lb bay scallops
1/2 lb lump crab meat
1/2 c fresh lime juice
1 t grated tangerine rind
2/3 c chopped tangerine (about 1 tangerine)
1/2 c peeled, seeded, and chopped tomato
2 t finely chopped purple onion (use more)
1 t chopped fresh cilantro
1 t minced fresh jalapeno
1/8 t salt
garnish fresh cilantro leaves (optional)
Directions:
1. You can make your own tortilla chips by cutting a tortilla into 8 wedges;arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
2. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes or until crisp.
3. Let cool.
4. Store in airtight container.
5. Cook scallops and crab in a skillet over medium heat 3 minutes or until done.
6. Drain.
7. Cool and combine with rest of ingredients except the garnish.
8. Chill.
9. Serve with tortilla chips
