These are great for sending with campers or having around as a nutritious treat for the kids!
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup chocolate, chips-semi sweet
1/3 cup raisins
1/4 cup dates
1/4 cup pecans
2 1/2 cups quick oats
Directions:
1. In large bowl, cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla.
2. In separate bowl, mix flour, salt and soda.
3. Gradually add dry ingredients with creamed mixture until dough forms.
4. Fold in oats, chocolate chips, pecans, raisins, and dates one at a time.
5. Roll into 1 balls and drop on lightly greased cookie sheet 2 apart.
6. Bake 9-11 minutes at 375 degrees or until edges golden brown.
7. Do not over bake. Cookies will firm as they cool.
