A creamed cabbage recipe from a local country resteraunt.
Ingredients:
3 lbs cabbage (1 large head)
2 -3 stalks celery
1 carrot
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash black pepper
Directions:
1. Shred Cabbage.
2. Chop Celery and Carrot (fine).
3. Mix the Vinager, sugar, and mayonaise together.
4. Combine all ingerdiants in a large bowl.
5. Let sit for 2 hour before serving.
6. For best results allow to sit overnight.
