Ingredients:
2 cups sifted cake flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground allspice
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
4 eggs, well beaten
2 cups sugar
3 cups grated carrots
carrot cake frosting
Directions:
1. Combine flour, soda, salt, and spices; set aside.
2. Combine oil, eggs, and sugar; beat well. Add dry ingredients; beat well. Stir in carrots.
3. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 325° for 55 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, and spread frosting over top of cake.
