Select a cottage cheese made with whole or 2% milk; babies need the extra fat now for proper growth and development. Also, baby may tolerate the texture of small curds better than large-curd varieties. We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 serving of pear puree or 1/4 cup peeled, mashed ripe pear
1 serving of peach puree or 1/4 cup peeled mashed peaches
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. For a smoother texture, place all ingredients in a food processor, and process until desired consistency.
