Entered for safe-keeping. From Rebecca Franklin, . Pure Mediterranean dessert candy delight, Corsican style. For candied orange peel, can use crystallized orange peel.
Ingredients:
3 ounces white chocolate chips
3 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
3 tablespoons dried dates, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons candied orange peel, finely chopped
Directions:
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler filled with barely simmering water.
3. Drop the chocolate onto the parchment in heaping teaspoonfuls, smoothing each drop into a 2-inch circle. Working quickly, sprinkle the walnuts, dates, and orange peel over the chocolate disks before they set up.
