Cornbread Pudding

Sweet, moist corn bread, almost like a pudding, but browned and crispy on top.
Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour
1 cup self-rising cornmeal (either way)
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups water
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients together then add liquids. Melt 1/4 cup Crisco in 9 by 13 inch pan, (glass or metal) and pour mixture over top of very hot, melted crisco. Don't over stir mixture.
2. Bake in 425 degree oven for approximately 30-40 minutes. (depending on oven).
3. Great just from the oven or cold.
