This makes a 9x13 pan. It is a bit sweeter than most, but that's the way I like it.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons melted butter (or cooking oil)
1 1/2 cups milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Grease a 9x13 pan.
3. Combine sugar and eggs.
4. Sift together flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
5. set aside.
6. Add milk and butter to egg and sugar mixture.
7. Add flour mixture and mix quickly.
8. put mixture into prepared pan.
9. Bake for about 30 minute.
10. until light golden brown.
