A different type of Soup that fills you up.
Ingredients:
1/4 pound butter
1/4 pound flour
1 small onion, diced
2 celery stalks, diced
2 cups chicken broth or stock
1 cup milk. scalded
2 cups corn (or more if desired)
salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste
Directions:
1. Saute veggies in butter until tender
2. Add flour to make a roux.
3. Cook lightly, til roux turns a golden shade.
4. While whisking, add stock and scalded milk.
5. Add corn and seasonings.
6. Simmer and serve.
