Always wanted to look like a professional pastry chef? Well you can with these simple truffles. These are so easy and delicious! Hint: Since the dough is very sticky, roll your fingers into flour. This will make the dough easier to roll. You can also use the pre made cookie dough as well. you can also melt white chocolate a drizzle over top for a different look, roll them in chopped pecans after they are dipped in the chocolate. The varities are unlimited! Have fun and enjoy! Let your imagination run wild!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
3/4 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 1/2 lbs chocolate bark, melted
Directions:
1. In a large bowl cream butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy.
2. Add vanilla.
3. Gradually beat in flour and add milk.
4. Add chocolate morsels and pecans, mixing well.
5. Shape into 1-inch balls.
6. Place on waxed paper; chill 2 hours.
7. Melt chocolate bark candy coating in a double boiler.
8. Using 2 forks, dip cookie balls into candy coating to cover.
9. Place on waxed paper and chill to set.
10. Store in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
