Colonel Sanders’ Southern Pecan Pie

This is my personal recipe for Southern pecan pie.
Ingredients:
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup light corn syrup (karo brand)
1/3 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice or 1 tablespoon vinegar
4 tablespoons soft salted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 prepared pie crust, unbaked
2/3 cup pecans, halved
Directions:
1. Mix the first 7 ingredients together thoroughly.
2. Spread 2/3 cup pecan halves in an unbaked pie shell.
3. Pour liquid mixture over pecans in pie shell.
4. Bake 35-45 minutes in 325 F degree oven.
