Another must for my holiday gift trays and cookie exchange. These are always very popular. Enjoy
Ingredients:
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1-1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup butter
3 egg yolks
2 tablespoons cognac
melt chocolate.
Directions:
1. Combine sugar and butter in bowl then cream together.
2. Add egg yolks 1 at a time then stir in melted chocolate and cognac.
3. Chill mixture at least one hour then break off pieces and form into balls.
4. Roll in coating of your choice and air dry for 1 hour.
5. Store in airtight container in very cool place.
6. Coatings: ground almonds, cocoa, confectioners' sugar, coconut or chopped pecans.
