THIS WILL GET YOU, PARDON THE PUN , BROWNIE POINTS WHEN YOU MAKE THESE..
Ingredients:
6 squares ( 1 ounce each ) semi sweet chocolate
1/4 cup granuated sugar
1/2 cup ( 1 stick ) butter
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups 'm & m's chocolate baking bits, divided

1/2 cup ( 1 stick ) butter
1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut... toasted
3/4 cups chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES F. LIGHTLY GREASE 8X8X2 INCH BAKING PAN;SET ASIDE.
2. IN A SMALL SAUCEPAN COMBINE CHOCOLATE PIECES, SUGAR AND BUTTER OVER LOW HEAT;STIR CONSTANTLY UNTIL CHOCOLATE IS MELTED.
3. REMOVE FROM HEAT;LET COOL SLIGHTLY.
4. IN A LARGE BOWL BEAT EGGS, OIL AND VANILLA; STIR IN CHOCOLATE MIXTURE UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
5. IN A MEDIUM BOWL COMBINE FLOUR , COCOA POWDER,BAKING POWDER AND SALT;ADD TO CHCOCLATE MIXTURE.
6. STIR IN 1 CUP OF THE M&M'S BAKING BITS.
7. SPRESD BATTER EVENLY IN PREPARED PAN.
8. BAKE 35 TO 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOOTHPICK INSERTED INTO CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN.
9. COOL COMPLETELYON WIRE RACK IN PAN, PREPARE COCONUT TOPPING AND SPREAD OVER COOLED BROWNIES; SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING 1/2 CUP M& M'SBAKING BITS CUT INTO BARS
10. STORE TIGHTLY IN COVERED CONTAINER
11. MAKES 16 BROWNIES

13. COCONUT TOPPING TO TOAST COCONUT SPREAD EVENLY ON COOKIE SHEET TOAST IN PREHEATED OVEN 350 DEGREES F. FOR ABOUT 7 TO 8 MINUTES TILL GOLDEN BROWN STIRRING OCC.
14. IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN, MELT BUTTER OVER MEDIUM HEAT; ADD BROWN SUGAR AND CORN SYRUP, STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL THICK AND BUBBLY.
15. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR IN REMAINING INGREDIENTS
