This is a absolutely wonderful recipe that I wanted to try to figure out from when we went to Gatlinburg a few years back. I finally got it right.
Ingredients:
1 12 oz. bag white chocolate chips
1 6 oz bag flaked coconut
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2/3 cups evaporated milk
1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
1 7 oz jar marshmallow creme
Directions:
1. In large pot over med heat, cook and stir butter, sugar and milk
2. Bring to boil for 5 minutes or candy temp of 230 degrees.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Add marshmallow creme and white choc chips stirring til well blended and chips are melted.
5. Add in coconut and flavoring.
6. Mix and pour into sprayed medium baking dish.
7. Cool then chill til firm.
